Ceramic inlays

Ceramic inlays have many advantages:

They meet high functional and esthetic requirements, have a very high accuracy of fit, are color-fast and tooth-colored, translucent and look very similar to natural tooth material with their opalescent sheen and light reflection. They have a high biological compatibility (biocompatible) and there are therefore no intolerances or allergies. There is no temperature sensitivity and no taste impairment. The material costs are lower than for gold inlays and they have a long service life with good care.
